Silva is impressive with his timing and pin-point accuracy striking. I am not sure I understand what I was watching in that fight. I've seen some Systema guys land seeming effortless blows with devastating effects. Silva's work indeed seems almost 'effortless'...
The end of the bout brought to mind the 'phantom' punch fight many years ago with Ali/Liston.

coach tran! what's shakin'? been pretty busy.

setting up a company. design, animation, film, advertising. it's rough, though. so much paperwork! still, it's coming along nicely. picked up another client last friday. yay!

set up a training group. grappling, mma, some cst. stevenhogg will be handling the cst stuff though. he understands it much more thoroughly than this skull does. have guys coming from all over the county. guess they like it.

exploring the possibility of taking up a collection each month from the guys and with said proceeds, will bring in faculty for seminars! WHOOOOOOOYAAAAAAAAA! it appears to be a popular idea.

have been working out with stevenhogg in the mornings (like 5am). intuflow, flowfit and clubbells. 4x7 for his IC prep. he is READY! we did trial by fire 3 times in about 1 week! hahahahahahaha! yeah, it's not intended for that type of frequency, but we are whacky like that!

went to flowbox with coaches jones and haggard this weekend. you can see the review in flowfighting section of the forum.

also been working alot. just changed jobs. that was a bit of a surprise. the new job is just temporary. once the company is launched, that will be the "main thing" for income.

whew!

oh yeah, found some nice inexpensive tea tree oil soap (bars) at trader joe's. two large bars for 1.69. it smells good (lacking perfume) and works really well. it's great for after rolling.
