I just came from a first appointment with a chiropractor and in addition to x-rays, they performed a computerized spinal examination through sEMG called a MyoVision Static scan. My results, not surprisingly according to biotensegrity theory, showed a spiral or zigzag pattern of high tension, moving from the right side of the spine to the left and back starting from C3 down to S1. It seemed to correlate well with physical/structural issues I have been noticing in some cases for years.
I am interested in the experience of forum members and cadre with this technology. Specifically:
1. Did anyone's scan show a symmetrical balance of tension?
2. Did anyone's scans show progressive improvement over the course of chiropractic adjustments and/or targeted exercise?
3. What is the experience of health care professionals on the forum? Is this a useful tool?
Best,
