Hello,

I'm new to the forum and was wondering what would be a logical progression of products to purchase from Scott Sonnon. I am a massage therapist and aspiring kettlebell trainer trying to sift through all the junk out there and find something solid that I can use and master myself before imparting what I have learned onto my clients. Wondering where to start, kettlebell dvd and breathing dvd makes sense to me, but what else for mobility work that I can use with a small group prior to a kettlebell session?

Thanks!

Erik,

The Kettlebell Foundations DVD has specific mobility work if you're looking for something to bring to your kettlebell class.

Two great places to start for breathing and mobility work are the Intu Flow and Be Breathed DVDs, respectively. I'd also throw in Body Flow, as I use many of those movements in my mobility sessions and warm up prep.

From there you can branch out to other programs as you see fit.

Erik,

John has given some good advice.

However, the logical progression is different if you intend on teaching this to clients. The material is not designed to show how to instruct clients. This depth of knowledge is reserved for those attending the IC (Instructor Certification) seminars. So, the logical progression would be to train up yourself first and then attend an IC so that you can be certified to teach the material you are interested in teaching.

Flowfit is also a good one. As it is the programme we are authorised to teach as CST Instructor for the Prasara wing. Sophistication of movement from the standard Flowfit movements is limitless.
