I'm interested in buying one of the books on CST but am unsure as to which one to get. I decided to ask since i recieved an email that said there were two new books coming out. My question is how would a person decide which is most appropriate for themselves?

Currently i want to get the Sonnon book, but the Szolek book with its "14 incrementally more challenging Combination Routines" looks particularly 'sexy' (even though its a slim 94 pages). I have the video and have been swinging away for the past few weeks, but i'm not sure how to construct programs, build biomenchanically safe combo routines, or even what a 'density cycle' is! is the OCS book specifically about the swipe and the mill? What about this new book on terrific balancing acts?

I do appreciate the options, but i'm just trying to get some bearings on how the books and programs differ from each other - for the newbie.

Since you have the video in order to review proper form, it sounds like the CST Core Cadre Curriculum (http://www.circularstrengthtraining.com/corecadre.html) would best meet your needs at this time. It will help you follow along through pre-selected combination routines to explore density training.

Olympic Clubbell Sport (http://www.circularstrengthtraining.com/ocs.html) specifically regards the sport's events: the Mill and the Swipe. If you intend on competing in the sport, or intend on performing a high volume OCS cycle, then get this manual.

Mobilized Strength (http://www.circularstrengthtraining.com/mobilized.html) will be another sound investment for you to program active recovery cycles to prevent injury and guarantee consistent progress.

In the future, once you're more comfortable and are ready to design your own program cycles, get Clubbell Training for Circular Strength (http://www.circularstrengthtraining.com/cborder.html) It's the "bible" of CST.
