I am looking to increase strength and speed for catch wrestling and BKB boxing. What program would you recommend ?

I also have a friend who is doing this as well but his time avalible for clubbelling is limited.

can train in the evening - sun , mon , tues, fri

person 2 - him ( the other stuart )

Stuart,

You need a unique combination explosive strength and muscular endurance for Catch wrestling. It's a terrible beauty of a sport.

If this is an initial 3 week GPP cycle to develop a foundation of basic attributes necessary for your sport, I suggest you find an appropriately challenging intensity (Clubbell weight and/or grip depth/choke) and follow a Double Density (http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/17/sonnon1.html) protocol on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays. In the AM perform double dead-hang snatches to leverage hold. In the PM, perform "drumming" Armpit Casts. In between your AM/PM split, and on your off days, perform a Warrior Wellness and Prime Your Bioenergy session.

Plan your numbers to conclude on the third week if possible, and plan a fourth week of just active recovery.

Track your progress each session in the CST PERSONAL TRAINING LOGS. After you conclude this cycle we can reassess where you would like to go with your training.
