Hi all

I'm reading Coach Sonnon's book "Clubbell® Training For Circular Strength" and I've got a question.

Do you swing clubbells fast or slow?

Intuition tells me to do it slowly. But I'd rather ask and be sure.

Certain movement should be performed in a ballistic manner! Other movements CAN be performed in a slow, grinding manner.

Mark,

Smooth and slow until you've had extensive experience with a particular exercise. Allow any speed increases to happen as a result of skill development only.

PS: Slow is not super-slow.

Once you learn the skill of certain exercises well enough you will find different benefits to be had from a moving through them balisitcally or grinding or both as in the case of Combination Routines where Grinds often follow Balistics in the performance.

I have a feeling though that this will all be cleared up as you finish Coach Sonnon's Clubbell Training for Circular Strength, it is the word on Circular Strength and its cultivation.

As you begin to dig in an learn a handfull of various exercises make a note of which ones you enjoy more than others aswell as which ones you find more challenging. Once you've done this, meet me over at the program design Help Desk and we'll get you on your road to personal evolution and growth.

Coach Szolek

You've got a deal. I'll send email when I'm done reading.
