Hi all!

I just wanted to publically thank Scott for inventing Clubbells and to publically share just what they've done for me.

Roughly two years before getting my "baby bells" as I call them (they're only ten pounders, but initially felt a heck of a lot heavier--easily as heavy as my 36 pound kettlebell), I had injured my right sternoclavicular joint in a stupid training accident. I had been attempting a handstand without initially locking out and my elbows suddenly geve way. I landed flat on the top of my head. From there my head bent sharply to the left and I then landed kind of flat on my right ear and the tip of my right shoulder. Not willing to call it a day after one stupid accident, I stubbornly attempted the same handstand once again, and repeated the same accident!

This gave me an anterior dislocation of the right sternoclavicular joint, which in turn displaced the acromial-clavicular joint as well. The joint at the top of my sternum looked like I had a ping-pong ball buried just under the skin.

After numerous trips to two different chiropractors (one of whom claimed to specialize in reducing SC dislocations) I still had a significant dislocation of the joint. I couldn't sleep well at night as the pain in the AC joint was severe, and any attempts to use the kettlebell or even do decent pushups resulted in strong pain.

Fast forward close to two years. By now I've learned to live with the pain and was resigning myself to what I was beginning to see as the "inevitiable decline" of middle age. Then I had a phone call with Arthur Sennott where he praised the Clubbells he had just purchased and strongly recommended I give them a try.

I sold my 54 pound kettlebell and used the proceeds to buy myself my ten pounders. I started swinging them clockwise and counterclockwise around my head as well as back and forth like heavy baseball bats using varying speeds and intensities. (Going against the safety rules, I know) I started swinging them together some times.

In roughly two weeks of doing this, my SC joint reduced almost back to normal, the pain disappeard I would say about 95%, and I could finally sleep the night again without waking up in pain whenever I'd try to roll over. My regular chiropractor told me he'd never seen a "stabilized dislocation" of this joint ever brought back to normal before.

A few months later and I'd have to say the joint is totallyback to normal, I have no SC or AC joint pain whatsoever, and the only sign I'd ever had a joint injury is the slight amount of "popcorn" crepitation I get in the AC joint every now and again when I put an unusual demand on it.

I owe this totally to my use of the Clubbells.

This in my opinion is important information to get out to physical therapists and orthopedic physicians.

And once again, Scott, thanks! :D

That's a great story! I've read it a few times for inspiration.
