I've decided to end my last cycle of leg intensive exercises because
1) I was losing motivation in training aka not looking forward to squats, perhaps overtraining and wanting to keep exercises 'fresh'
I plan on coming back to the extensive leg work, just feel burned out on it
2) wanted to really try C4 and start my journey in internalizing the wonderful combos in the book
3) start exploring the 25s (have been working mostly with 15s)
4) continue with fat loss
--the main reason was the leg burnout
--my main goal is health/fat loss and what ever benefits come my way by using the 25s
--I have chosen swipes and mills combos in C4, 2 solid exercises for strikers/grapplers.
--I plan on building a strength/skill base (3-6 wks) as per C4. In my last cycle (pre-C4) I did not practice the components of my combos and think that may have not been optimal. I wish to explore the differences in protocols.
--This week, I have devoted my time to active recovery to rest my CNS.
--I plan to follow a double D protocol with swipes AM and bullhips PM.
Any advice for better modifications is appreciated.
