I really like Ageless Mobility. Its about as close as you can get to a deep tissue massage without hiring a masseus. I am however not sure of how to best make use of it. Does anyone use AM daily? Weekly? I was thinking of maybe using it as my No Intensity day program in my 4x7s but I am not sure if it might be a bit to much for that.

Ageless Mobility can be used in the no intensity day, but what you need to do is monitor very closely your RPE and make sure you keep in the 1-2 RPE range. It might mean backing off on some of the movements.

However, from my experience, it fits a lot better on the low intensity day of a 4x7. That way you can go to real depth in all of the movements and will definitely hit a RPE of 3-4.

thanks for the advice I was considering trying it for the low intensity days but wasnt sure where it would work best. Its a wonderful program but I have always had difficulty pinning it down to an exact place in a cycle. I always thought it might be a fun experiment to do Ageless Mobility daily for a month. I'd imagine that level of release and mobility work might be just about life changing :)

Hi Brian,

Coach Eddy here.
I am currently using Ageless daily to release Lumbar Spine issues!
am using the Big Bends segment of the program, not the entire program daily.

I find for me Ageless gives me a GREAT fascial release. My Lumbo-sacral fascia and QL's are more often than not in spasm... so to relieve the pressure and 'pain' I am playing with Ageless daily.

As for Ageless being use as 'low intensity' go for it! Just remember Damien's recommendations.

Practice n play!
Donna

What seperates Ageless mobility and Intu- *low(missing letter is not working on keyboard!)

Ageless mobility contains basic cardinal and circle movements from intu-flow for the spine (i.e. arms and leg movements are not included in this sequence).
However the focus is different.

In Intu-flow we are specifically mobilising each of the joints through a head down, core out movement sequence.

In Ageless Mobility the focus is more on a deeper release for the fascia around the spine done by first going to depth in each range of motion before mobilising it.
In addition to this there is a gentle, but very deep, yoga session for the spine as a part of the sequence.

Ageless Mobility is a specific sequence that takes about 90 minutes to complete.

I would say Ageless Mobility is the point where the 'rings' of "Intu-flow" and "Prasara body-flow" overlap.

Hope that helps!
