Hey Guys,
This summer, I would really like to buckle down and start studying Coach Sonnon's material. I was wondering if there is any order you guys recommend I should go in? I am a little overwhelmed with all the material I have. I have the Body-Flow™ book, Arthrokinetics™, Fisticuffs, Leg Fencing, IOUF, GTB, Shock-Ability™, Be Breathed™, Flow Fighting ,and the CST vid (I have the whole series for the vids). I am planning to hopefully get the CST book in a couple of weeks. I'd appreciate any advice you can provide. Thanks,
Azar

You are off to a great beginning, in that you said "studying". That's what you have to do and do again and again. Go back and forth between reading the BodyFlow book and then studying the CST videos and Be Breathe. Every time you go back to one, you'll understand things a little better from your previous read or viewing.
As far as the R.O.S.S, listening is more important than viewing. Listen carefully to each word he says. But it will sink in better if you have someone to practice with you. Go back and forth between soft work, hard work and studying the videos.
Take one piece of the R.O.S.S and focus on it during play. Like sometimes when I'm wrestling, I only focus on taking my opponents air away in a pin, sometimes I only focus on getting my opponent to carry my weight and so on......
Also, if you have anyone available to pass the knowlegde to, do it. Teaching helps you understand better, especially when they ask questions.

Hey guys,
I started reading Body-Flow and had a couple of questions about two of Coach Sonnon's series that were mentioned, Maximology and Zdorovye. I looked them up on the Rmax site and was wondering if I should invest in them? I'm not too sure what the tapes consist of. Is everything I need covered in the materials I already have (I forgot to mention I have the WW series, too)? Thanks,
Azar

Great package! The Z-tapes are the foundation of everything else you will study. Dvizheniye(movement), Polozhenniye(alignment) and Dykhaniye(breathing). These are, personally, my favorite sets because I believe strongly in the basics. I go back to these tapes time and time again. I have one in my VCR right now! I might get these, alone, first and study them for about three months and then go to "Maximology", just so you won't be distracted. The Z-tapes are the "what", while "Maximology" is the "why" and "how". You can't go wrong with the combo.
Thanks, Dan!
Everything I know, was stimulated by you coaches!

Hey guys,
I have two questions that I wanted to ask. The first one is from Prime Your Bioenergy. In it there's a part where Coach Sonnon says that it's a cognitive illusion that you can only move one part of your body at a time. Could you guys explain that to me? The second one is regarding the 4-corner balance drills. Is it better to do them all one after the other (like in the first Leg Fencing tape) or alternate legs? Thanks,
Azar

From my perspective: First every single structure of you body is connected to every other structure via the connective tissues. All the way from the microscopic level of singular organelles within every cell to the entire "sweater or sack" of connective tissue just under your skin. So if you move just your thumb you are pulling on the entire network very subtley. Also to ballance within gravity while moving is to make thousands of micro adjustments in the alignment of you structure to keep a center of gravity that isn't hitting the ground. The musculoskeletal structure is essentially a bunch of cables, pullies and various tension devices that hold a bunch of sticks upright or in two words a tensegrity structure. If a section of the body is moved out away from the current center of gravity the whole tensegrity structure of the body has to adjust its shape and various tensions. Hope that is clear enough to give you a grasp on these ideas.

My heart sings - someone else also promoting the "T" concept.
Cheers
