I've never allowed it to be sold in bookstores which is one of the reasons so few normal people have heard of it. In fact it's been a kind of closely guarded underground secret, a lot of my students are very careful who they tell about the program.

And now it's on the internet...

Actually, it sounds a bit interesting, considering the type of research he says influenced his program design. I'm still digesting a massive amount of accumulated information and just don't have time to look at it.

A quick read up on the Spartans at the battle of Thermopylae will quickly demonstrate how great their legend was: 300 Spartans led a small army of non-Spartans against a force of 80-100,000 invaders. The Greeks, vastly outnumbered, thought they would win anyway, simply because they had Spartans with them.

A contributing author to CST MAG, Jim Smith, runs a forum called the Animal Board. Jim's members had this to say about the Spartan mail-order fitness course: http://p082.ezboard.com/fanimalabilityfrm4.showMessage?topicID=489.topic

The Spartan Health system is stuff the author dug up about paleo eating and exercising, probably mostly online (my brother bought a copy and is going to send it to me to review it). The big problem people have is that there is an overabundance of information online, much of it is very good and useful. So, what do you do?

The one thing most people miss is consistency. Consistency of effort, consistency of diet, consistency of exercise...etc, etc, etc.

If you change your lifestyle, including any number of decent diets out there, and including some style of exercise, you will change your body composition for the better.

At $99 or whatever Bova's charging these days, I'd sure recommend joining a few internet forums (including this one, Dragondoor's, Crossfit's, and a few others) over shelling out the cash first.

Hah. Re-reading that stuff from AA cracks me up. Every day I'm just one stupid post away from reverting into full-blown assholishness.

Shaf,
A common thread in the programs of Coaches Sonnon, Szolek, and with the lastest post and pics - Chomycia is CONSISTENCY! Bro you "let the cat out of the bag." Lost yourself $99 a pop the SECRET FOR SUCCESS program.

Paul Karpick

I pretty consistently incorporate a certain amount of fast food with my preferred diet of healthy meals. It has slowed the progress of my weight loss, but it's real easy and cheap to do!

For full details, send me $5.00, and you will get your copy of "The Weekend Warrior's Diet" e-mailed straight to you!

(J/K - Don't send me anything. Spend your $5.00 on a Value Meal and you'll get the idea.)
