I have started doing the Intu-Flow beginner program with my wife in the evenings. It is the only time we can get it done. I very excited to get her moving but its costing me my ability to sleep well at night. I stopped doing evening workouts for this very reason, but she needs to get healthy again. The beginner program is a mild challenge for her at this point. If I stop she will stop she needs someone to do this with(her words not mine).
Do anybody have any ideas how to unwind from this extra work at the end of the day? Am I pushing to hard in our evening session RPE 1 maybe?
Thanks for the input,
Chris

Set aside some time at the very end to wind down from the program. I would suggest looking into corpse pose (yoga) and working on square breathing. Coach Sonnon covers this in the full RESET program, but the basic idea is to work on 4 count inhale, 4 count hold, 4 count exhale, and a 4 count control-pause. Work with the numbers, but the idea should be apparent.
Another option would be to eliminate the rolls/waves from the IF for now. They are what is boosting your energy. When my wife and I do a late evening session we don't have a problem, but we only do the direct mobility work (usually to compensate for running around all day long and not being able to really move about).
I also personally find writing in my journal before bed to help as well. Empty that bucket of my mind as much as possible so when I do get to bed I can focus on sleep.
Finally, don't discount the changes in your body from the TFC itself - Coach wrote an article on this aspect that is available in the Core Cadre archives. You will be getting a lot more energy (despite how much it seems we are killing ourselves with each session) and your system needs to adjust its rhythms. Perfectly normal.
