How are you coping with the changed centre of mass? Also, is there any danger of those things flying off?

Good questions.

I just tried it today for the first time. One did in fact go flying off in the middle of a mill, skittering across my kitchen counter and knocking a jar of hand chalk all over the place (and a bag of pretzels)!

So, I modified the way that I strapped them on. The velcro cinches down pretty darned tight. So, I think it will be workable with a bit more experimentation. As far as the center of mass goes, I am just trying to secure them as close to the end as I can to maximize torque.

Whilst I am not qualified to comment with any kind of authority, intuitively I feel modifying the clubbells in that manner might not be the best idea. My shoulders 'feel' tense looking at the design and I think there could be extra tension building up in the shoulders to compensate for the changed centre of mass.

If the 15's are no longer challenging you in standard combinations like mills then you can get more mileage by looking at more complex combination exercises like reverse mills or by creating your own based around the mill or other exercises.

Or he could just give them to me.
