Today I did the joint circles for 5 minutes after each meal and logged my performance. My energy level continues to be low, residual coughing and congestion. Gradually feeling more like my usual self. I did one set of 5 repetitions both directions like in the Warrior Wellness tapes. Started with my head and arms after breakfast. Still having difficulty isolating some movements. overall RPE = 5 especially on left side. RT=3 with some movements better than others. RPD minimal except for neck which was 2. Remembered problem with left pinkie after I had a colley's (sp?) about 12 years ago---ulnar nerve damage according to orthopedic surgeon. RT is 1 minus on pinkie circles.

After lunch did thorasic, hip, and arm/shoulder rotations. Seemed to finally get the thorasic moves going in super slow motion. RPE = 8 or 9 RT = 2 RPD = 1

After dinner worked on hip, leg circles. Couldn't remember some of the planes from the Warrior Wellness tapes. Noted it wil be easier when I can watch tapes for patterns. Strangely right leg more difficult than left. Also noted difference in smoothness of movement in one direction vs. the opposite direction. Felt a bit frustrated at times. RPE = 8 had to really concentrate hard on some of the moves. RT = 8 with a few being a bit better. RPD = 3 Some pain in hips expecially standing on one leg. Unable to balance during these moves without support.

Shiela,

Keep your leg lower to balance on one leg, even if hovering slightly off the ground. It has the same affect on the nervous system regardless of height.

Frustration is the only opponent. Everytime you feel like a goofball, jump in the air and yell, "FANTASTIC!" :D

Managed 2 of the sessions of joint circles today after meals. Did 1 set of 5 repetitions. Very busy day overall. Tired tonight. RPE = 3 to 4, RT = 3, RPD = 4. No unusual feelings or impressions. Noted in morning session how good it felt to move. Balance continues to be a challenge with the leg circles.

On Wednesday I did the 5 minutes after each meal but I didn't get those logs posted. Just ran out of time before the storms hit and I had to turn off the computer. I'm doing better today.

Continuing to do the joint circles for 5 minutes after each meal. Doing 5 reps clockwise and then counter clockwise. RPE = 3 RT = 5 RPD = 1 No images. I'm noticing less difference between the clockwise and counter clockwise movements. Overall less concentration (effort) needed to do many of them. Thorasic and lumbar circles are still clunky. Moving feels good overall. I want to start using the Warrior Wellness tapes and follow along. Is it too soon to start doing this? Also, do I still stop after 5 minutes?

Sunday, June 13 Felt good to get back into the routine of doing the circles. Did 1 set of 5 repetitions for 5 minutes after each meal today. RPE=3 RT=some 3's, some 4's, RPD=1 during circles. Some stiffness/tension in lower back late in day. Doing pelvic circles seemed to relieve this tension.
