Not sure how appropriate this is to ask here but I want to obtain the BodyFlow DVDs for getting into more BMEs. I'm out of work and finances are tight so I've been looking for BodyFlow on ebay, Amazon, etc for less expensive possibilities with no success so far. Could you please let me know if anyone is looking to sell their BodyFlow DVDs or has an extra set? I appreciate it!

(I own the book but it is tucked away in storage and I learn better thru videos than books..)

Hi Paul,

If you don't find any luck in getting these, "Grapplers Toolbox Reborn" has most of the body-flow drills included in the DVD.

The emphasis is slightly different as it is more in relation specifically to grappling and it is missing a section on creating kinetic chains (combination's of body-flow BME's) as well as the theory components that appear in the Body-Flow series (as it is a recording of a body-flow seminar Coach Sonnon taught some years ago).

Nevertheless it is a very feasible cheaper alternative.

Hi Damien,

Great thought. Thanks for thinking about this as a possibility for my situation.

Grapplers Toolbox is not a bad idea at all and I may need to consider it. I don't have a foundation nor current practice in martial arts therefore GTR doesn't interest me so much. Yet finances may move me towards this direction. Right now I'd rather wait and maybe save up for Body Flow for a while in order to eventually obtain it. It's just that I'm very motivated to do more with BMEs right now.

All good things come in time! It's one of the many blessings of my current circumstances: I must practice patience more often than I would be inclined to if I were still employed! Peace!

Hey Paul,

Any idea in particular of BME's you would like to work on?

Or in general what kind of 'area' you would like to be working on?

I would be happy to make a couple of tutorials on some of them to put on my blog.

Wow! You are awesome, Damien! Your offer is wonderfully generous.
I have some low back issues and find that keeping my hips open really helps. I work on IF movements which are great. And I've been doing yoga for many years - this also helps. But I find that I'm not so 'fluid' or flexible in my hips and low back as I would like to be. I tried John Sifferman's 'Duck Walk' BME vid and was very inspired to pursue BME's more. Also, while attempting the duck walk, I found that it was very challenging for me so it's an area I'd like to work on.

True fact that I viewed all of your vids on YouTube last night. Great stuff! And also wish I could attend the seminar with you in Thailand.
Thanks, Bro!!!

Hips are my big problem too Paul, so some hip movements which I am developing I am not yet in a position to create a tutorial for as I am not quite there myself yet.

There are some other good ones though and I've got some ideas for a couple, and one the backwards long arm roll that I have been sitting on for over a year now (I filmed some footage of a student of mine back when I was teaching a kids class) that I have yet to finish up.

I'll get into it in the coming week, see how we go.

Thanks again, Damien!
No hurry - in your own time. In the meantime, I'll work on some Prasara moves - hips are a tough one!
