I've had the pleasure of training Dan for many years now, ever since he appeared at a ROSS camp I conducted in the cold months of winter at a renovated boy scout's camp in PA.

Some of you may remember Dan as my assistant in the video series Leg Fencing (http://www.rmax.tv/legfencing.html).

Dan's now pioneered new directions in CST, including his outstanding Mobilized Strength (http://www.circularstrength.com/mobilized.html) and his upcoming DVD debut with Catch as Catch Can Clubbell Training.

The amount of conviction and dedication this many has continued to impress me daily. After a serious work-related illness, Dan had to take off from training for several months, and fell into deconditioning.

What's impressive is how Dan reconditioned himself in 6 weeks, and completely healthily - with proper nutrition, rest and of course... tenacious effort. In only 6 weeks, he shed 30 pounds and went from a 38" waist to a 32" (poor guy needed to get a new wardrobe!) What's more impressive to me is that his strength increased so much in such a short period of time. You should see what this coach does with the Bruiser!

Here you can see his before and after photos:

You can follow his training log here: HIIT seems to be Catching on! (http://www.profcs.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=79892&u=http://circularstrengthmag.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1886)

Congratulations, amigo. You earned everything through your own sweat and blood. I'm honored to call you one of my staff.

So everyone knows... Dan's not even remotely some waist reduced waif of a boy. He's a man with real functional strength... in ways that are so pioneer that the world won't catch up to his unique exercises for a long time...

Here's an example of a Body-Flow Kinetic Chain he developed for 3D strength called: 3D Knuckle-ups (http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/images/3dknuckleups.AVI).

Great work Dan! You look strong and smooth in your movement.

Thanks for posting the video clip Scott. The video clip along with your post "Just the tension talking" in the Musings Articles Archive gave a different and positive spin to my day.

Thanks,

Scott,

Thanks so much for all of the years of hard work you put in to make mine and others' journeys possible. I couldn’t be more excited and pleased with the how these last few years have turned out, despite the challenges that we faced.

It is an Honor and a Privilege that I hold dear to be able to contribute to CST. Remembering how difficult it was to endure those early training camps when it seemed everyone was doing better than me. I can’t wait to create more resources for everyone to enjoy!

Thanks Jack for the compliments!

Talk to you soon!
