I have been using the Intu-Flow® beginners routine for a week now and my joints already feel less stiff. Mobility exercise is new to me and I have never done any before (I am 40 years old).
However, my joints seem to be clicking and popping a lot during the Intu-Flow® movements. I have a few clicks in my neck but my shoulders appear to be clicking and popping frequently in all of the shoulder rotation movements.
Other than clicking knees during deep squatting I don't ever remember my joints clicking a lot, especially not my shoulders. I have been fairly sedentary over the past few years and I imagine I haven't been using a good range of motion in my joints during this period.
Is this clicking normal? Is it healthy? Is the clicking likely to stop or become less frequent? I would appreciate your advice on this as I don't know if I am doing more harm than good going through the movements and clicking.
