After spending the last few weeks on the Olympic Lifts (Barbell) and the last few months neglecting my Mobility Practice and Body Flow, I'm back

With help from Doug I am going to be embarking on some intense with a Capital 'I' Clubbell work starting next week which will be posted to the CST Program Logs section. This will obviously require the active recovery components of Warrior Wellness to minimise any accumulated trauma.

So, this week will be spent exclusively on Warrior Wellness to clean the slate before setting off.

My Stats:

Male, 22 y.o.

Body Fat approx 8%

Weight 158

Height 5'10"

Adding this for my own peace of mind:
For those unsure about the pronounciation of my name, it's pronounced Killian. You can't imagine how many times it was pronounced Sillian when I lived Stateside, most traumatic

Cilian,

What do you suspect lay on the "slate" to clean?

How's your nutrition; what's your meal structure comprise?

My left upper trap is hypertonic as is my left lat (which led to the elevated shoulder issue I posted about a little while ago) and while squatting heavy a short time ago I tweaked my left psoas coming out of the hole (I am 98% sure this was a pre-existing condition which was aggravated making the transition from concentric to eccentric contraction)

Back to the shoulder issue while I think about it: my 4th rib bulges out considerably further than on the left side, and I imagine that this may be linked with the hypertonic trap and lat on the opposing side.

The rib was first noted almost exactly three years ago, and if it is an injury was most likely sustained by a really sweet wrist lock which was stacked all the way up my arm and through the shoulder joint.

Shortly after I noticed the rib bulging I went to a Chinese TuiNa bodywork practitioner for a series of treatments, his opinion was that there was no impingement on motion and that it was most likely the way my ribcage had developed.

Recently though I'm not so sure, to give an illustrative example;
this afternoon I was playing with some front-back circles with 15lb Clubbells, and as the bell transitioned from Overhead Front to Overhead Back, there was a crepitus entirely localised to the affected rib. Not painful but definitely there. This also happens in a number of other exercises (off the top of my head Bench Pressing and Military Pressing)

Diet is by and large good, will post a thorough overview tomorrow.

Date: June 2

Time: 8:45-9:10

Place: Bedroom facing window looking out on sunrise

Energy Level: Great, couldn't wait to get started. Started straight after rising, before eating.

Exercise Selection: Warrior Wellness Beginner

Sets: 1

Repetitions: 5-10 depending on exercise followed video protocol

Rest Period: None

Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE): 6

Rate of Technique (RT): 7

Rate of Perceived Discomfort (RPD): 3 On some of the later Shoulder ROMS, this sometimes happens after missing out on WW for a while.

Sensations: Had to remind self not to add unnecessary motions to artificially increase ROM. Hamstrings very tight.

Feelings: slightly unfamiliar

Images: Reminded of Monday's 20 rep Squat and Romanian Deadlift Session during foward leg swings.

Thoughts: enjoyed the thoroughness, need to make it a consistent part of my day again.

Questions: Shortly after my session, I squatted down to get something out of the fridge and got a pretty intense (7) pain behind the top of my left patella. Disappeared shortly (approx 1-2 hrs) in same ROM, but seemed odd as it came from Nowhere.

I've been continuing with Warrior Wellness to prime for a Double D cycle starting tomorrow and I'm starting to log my meals as per PnP instructions. Will be posting mainly to the CST log section unless any issues arise.
