I have never had that issue the only advice is to see your doctor. You can never go wrong going to seeing a physician.

I have treated several "Bakers cysts" ("some physicians likes this diagnose") with two simple "tricks":
1. Self treatment of trigger points on the outside hip & leg connective tissue (for anatomy geeks: gluteus min/med, IT band, lateral hamstring/quad) - you can find the best book for that here (http://www.triggerpointbook.com/index.html).
2. Using kinesiotaping on the knee-region, testing pain level with different applications and when find "painless-taping" - learn to self-taping.

Thanks Henri I will give this a shot. Can you refer a book for the taping?

Hi Loop62,
Your welcome. Are you familiar with kinesiotaping? If not - find it out - it's really cool thing to learn and use. I have two books on kinesiotaping: Clinical Therapeutic applications (http://www.amazon.com/Clinical-Therapeutic-Application-Kinesio%C2%AE-Taping/dp/B000FOXZGM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1293437528&sr=1-1)and Lymphoedema and chronic swelling... the first one is "comprehensive guide" to kinesiotaping... I have used KT 4 years now and don't follow books slavery - I have my own way to tape ;-).
You can also see videos from youtube about kinesiotaping the knee to get some ideas.
Read from internet about kinesiotaping (http://www.kinesiotaping.com)

Got Bakers cyst on my right leg...
The doctor scared me that I should run, squat or continue BJJ trainings till the rest of my life...
Read the internet a bit - looks like things are not that serious..
Currently I am going through 12-day phiseotherapy..
Could anybody advise,if I can continue my trainings (deads, squats, kettlebell swings,BJJ) after the swelling dissappears?
How can I prevent its reoccurance?

C,
Even after repeated drainings the my cyst still re-occurs. Although it has been better, I did a mri and the knee looked good but the cysts is there because of some type of aggravating problem. I still hit it pretty hard, i guess whatever the problem is will show itself down the road. Either way, back off on the lower body for a while and give things time to settle.
