Heya folks

I have the recent months lost about 2-3 kgs of my normal bodyweight despite not exercising, due to illness, injury and probably a unhealthy doze of laziness. I know 3 kgs ain' alot but it has left me pretty skinny, and I'm also gonna start TFW as soon as vacations over, which is next week, and I've figured you can't build muscle from nothing.

I've figured as much as to gaining weight in fat you've got to eat more calories than you burn, what I'm wondering about is there any general guidelines in what I should eat without putting the brakes on my performance? Will the TFW 4-day diet be a good place to start?

Cheers! :D

I have been managing to put on weight recently by eating more fat.

A diet rich in animal fats (fatty meats) as well as some raw goats milk, fresh cream, yoghurt, almonds has been serving me well.

Add to that very low carb content.

Most of my calories come from fat and protein and this tends to give my body the long-standing fuel that I have some left over to build mass..... too many carbs does not do me well at all.

As a guideline, take in at least 2.2 grams of protein per kg of lean body mass (daily). That should be adequate for muscle development. Other than that, avoid junk food and overeating.
