Hello,

I have a question pertaining to the knee tracking in the 4CBD. Do you try and forward lean as much as possible to prevent knee from going over the tip of the toes, or should one do it as feels confortable?

I have tried keeping the knee behind, but I'm not sure the excessive forward bend I need to put in (I'm tall, long limbs relative to torso) is so good for my lower back.

Many thanks in advance.

Kai,

Stand straight with a slightly bent knee, and just lower the height of your raised leg. Don't bend over.

Hello Coach,

Oh I'm sorry, my explanation wasn't sufficiently clear, what I mean is when kneeling down with the free leg ankle resting on the knee of the bending leg, the last position in the 4CBD.

Thanks in advance.

Sit back, don't lean 'over' as much.

So that means it isn't much of a problem if the knee track over the toes somewhat. I'm sorry to be picky about this, but I would like to be sure I'm doing things correctly.

Thanks again for your help Coach.

It means focus on sitting back as if sitting in a chair. If your focus is forward upon your knee over toes, you'll not be able to do it correctly.

Thanks, sitting back makes it quite clear now.
