Well it is the day after Kathleen's crowning
and in honor of Portland's Grand Floral Parade,
today for our arms we can do the Parade Queen Waves.
This is how you can wave continuously for
two hours. Remember, you can't stop for a
rest because the people who are watching
when you stop, get their feelings hurt that
you don't love them.
So cycle among these:
The Light Bulb
...hold your hand like you are changing a light bulb, and rotate
around your wrist. Alternate hands.
The Queen Elizabeth
...hold your hand straight up, fingers gracefully
together, the back of your hand facing the audience.
wave gently like a windshield wiper. Alternate hands.
Elbow, Elbow, Wrist Wrist Wrist
...hold hand up, fingers gracefully together,
palm out toward audience. Move your elbow
right-left once, then move your wrist
a smaller right-left-right. Repeat. Alternate hands.
Figure 8s
...same hand position as Elbow-Elbow-Wrist-Wrist-Wrist.
Draw gentle, graceful figure 8s side to side.
Alternate hands.
your lady-in-waiting,
Connie
