I'm a relative newby to martial arts (about 2 years of BJJ and kickboxing, about 1 year of Eskrima), and added a once-a-week weight training workout to my regimen about six months ago. This has been going well, and has especially helped my endurance when rolling. Since then, I've been researching (lurking, mostly) on the web about fitness and training techniques. Naturally, I soon found out about CBs and KBs. I especially like Coach Sonnon's empahasis on training for grace and agility - exactly the attributes I'd like to develop, as much as my 46 year old body will allow.
Someday soon, I'm going to take the plunge and buy my first set of CBs and start swinging!
