Hi guys,i am sugar sensitive and glad i found out about the Potatos not Prozac book, now its just a matter of starting it!But i was wondering if i am currently taking the creatine and am eating six small meals a day-similar to the Bill Philips diet, would it be possible to gain muscle mass with Kathleens diet?

Firstly, PnP isn't a diet. Secondly, you won't need the creatine. Lastly, when you follow the steps, you'll be adding more protein and complex carbs which will give you the building blocks and energy to put on mass. I put on 15lbs of lean muscle in a little over a month without worrying about putting on mass, and concentrating on healing my biochemistry. As a "Sugar Sensitive" athlete your focus should be on the latter as well.
Gavin, Scott said it, following the steps will help you to put on muscle.
Firstly like Scott said more protein equals more building blocks of muscle and more complex carbs equals more energy to put into your workouts.
But more than that healing your bio-chemistry will result in you having a much more relaxed and confident mind which equals better recovery from training and more satisfaction with the results you get.
I'm still on the first couple of steps but adding much more protein at breakfast is having a positive effect on me mentally and physically.
Scott, i'm also taking creatine, is it going to have a bad effect on me as far as biochemistry is concerned?
Also, what lifts were you doing to put on so much muscle? 15 ibs is amazing, it can't have just been from clubbells could it? obviousley i've only got a couple of weeks experience with them so i'm not a good judge.
Could I start a thread over at the s&c forum and ask you about your training?
Thanks!!

Go ahead and start a thread on S&C - this isn't the appropriate section.
