View Full Version : Fox's OCS Baseline Test and 3 Week Fool-Around

Decided that I would spend the 3 weeks from my Oct. 4 KB meet and getting back from my honeymoon the 28th ( getting married Saturday) just experimenting with new stuff, figure out where I was with the OCS events, re-program.

Did my OCS test yesterday -2 15lb CBs -all rests in shoulder park

SWIPE - 130 in 10 min.

10 minute break

MILL - 70/70 in 10 min.

Question -is that a score of 200 or 270? ( looks like 270 the way I read the rules?)

My form on the hand switch on the Mills is literally "fall down on the ground" laughable. Until I see pictures, article, video of this move ( HINT,HINT) I will just try to improve my 1 arm set length, no use in grooving what I'm doing.

Will start to use my 20s for swipe and will be ordering a 25 tomorrow to start some 1 arm heavy work, when I can hit these #s with the 20s I'll get another 25.

Big decision - I am going to do a 2 month CB only cycle and see where I am on Jan 1. Will post specifics of new program on Nov 1.

Bill, good baseline test numbers! That's 200 rep-pnts. A Mill is scored as 1 rep-pnt when one completes a rep right and a rep left (so actually it's 2 reps for 1 rep-pnt.)

Have a great wedding and honeymoon, amigo!

That score makes more sense.

Muchas Gracias.

Did the first "serious" work with my 20s last night. I guess there are some good points to getting older bacause it was clear to me that I'll have plenty to do with these for quit a while and want to become a true warrior with them before going up. Ordering Ugs today instead.

Plan is coming together and will look somewhat like a less structured Phase program. I'm a devout non-numbers guy so hopefully this will provide another approach to CB bad assness. Still in my fool around phase now.

did w/ 20s

5x10 rock-it (from Maximology- short swing w/ rock bottom squat)
5x5 swipe
3x5 Gamma
3x5 shield
3x3 short whip
3x3 double reverse parry
