I think Stamets is actually a mushroom in human skin. His myco-remediation ideas are fan-freaking-tastic.
I've been reading up on Maitake and the others and there is some really slick research being done by some very reputable folks.
I do find the Hwarng connection interesting...

I have experienced some amazing things with Cordyceps.
Paul, what an interesting character, a mushroom in human skin-funny yet true.

Would you mind going on about your experience with cordyceps? I have been very interested some of the medicinal mushrooms lately. Including the cultivation of them. I noticed that the Lion's Mane mushroom can stimulate the production of neuron growth factor.
