Hey,

I'm just getting interested in Clubbells, but I've been training with kettlebells for about two years now. Clubbells are sucking me in, but it just seems like there is so much information to purchase and I do not have the money. It seems like everyone that has one thing, has everything. I am not ill willed, but with a students budget I have to pick and choose where my money goes. Don't get me wrong, I'd really like a set of clubbells but I have to prioritize and obviously school is first. So...

I'm looking for an honest answer. What benefits, other than enhanced grip, will I attain by training hard with clubbells? And if you were in a situation where money was tight would you purchase clubbells if kettlebells are all ready owned?

I appreciate any honest answers and I am enjoying the forums. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I am very sad right now because the Red Sox lost to the yankees...I hate the yankees. Now I'm waiting for April... :(

My shoulders are stronger & more stable. By taking my shoulders through the rom's afforded by the clubbells, I have learned how to keep the shoulder girdle "loaded". I am now more kinesthetically aware of my shoulders & am better able to do my job. They are neat tools.

You can do everything with Clubbells that you could do with other equipment, and furthermore, they provide superior training effects (http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/14/sonnon9.html) far beyond what other equipment can accomplish. The Clubbell is the only equipment which truly creates essential synergy, three-dimensional strength conditioning, and can be used as performance enhancement for any activity. Obviously Clubbells strengthen your joint connective tissue, stabilize the joints, maximize dynamic flexibility and mobility, hack off the fat, pack on the muscle, give you the evasive 'in-between' strength where it counts, and shoot your cardio stamina and strength endurance through the roof!

Read a description of some of those benefits by Washington Post's Strength and Fitness Columnist, World Powerlifting Champion, Marty Gallagher: New Wine, Old Bottles (http://circularstrength.com/clubbellgallagher.html).

Understanding how their design evolved (http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/17/sonnon3.html) will help you understand their immense benefits. If I had to choose only one piece of equipment to have with me during college, it would have been Clubbells had they been available.

Yes I agree with bombero. And I would buy clubbells after I have bought kettlebells. And, not to mention this, I am looking for an entire set of clubbells. Money is tight, but I spend it wisely. My athletic endeavor is to dominate kettlebell sport.
