Greetings, all.
My name is John Quigley. 44 yrs old, 5'7", 160#. I’m not a martial artist – yet – but have a life-long interest in fitness. I work as a lobbyist for a non-profit environmental and public interest organization in Harrisburg, PA.
I've done just about every conceivable type of weight training and aerobic exercise at some point or another since I started regular workouts at age 13. My best lifts were BP 300 @ 145# (at age 25 - haven't benched in since), DL 420 @160# three years ago after a serious commitment to Pavel Tsatsouline's superb Power to the People program. Since then, I've committed myself completely to kettlebells, which are my prized possessions.
I'm a very satisfied purchaser of many of Coach Sonnon’s products, including the Zdorovye tapes, BodyFlow and Circular Strength tapes and books. After experimenting with a homemade clubbell, I recently purchased two 20’s, and am greatly impressed with the quality of the product and its training effect. My shoulders feel better than they have in years, and while I’ve done a variety of grip training and can close the Captain of Crush #2, I find Clubbells to be the best grip training – by far – that I’ve ever encountered. In short, I’m hooked on Clubbells, and look forward to exploring them in depth, as an adjunct to my kettlebell training.
I appreciate Coach Sonnon’s willingness to share so much of himself with us, and look forward to learning from you all.
