And boy are my arms tired (booo)
Had to go to Seattle on business- gone from Sat to Thursday PM.
Packed my 2 15 lb. CBs in a second checked bag with some workout clothes. Cbs placed in shipping boxes, with the promo/ instructional literature that came with CBs on top of the boxes in the hope of expediting any TSA issues.
Me to driver of airport shuttle-“that bag is heavier than it looks”- he picks it up and asks what’s in there. “weight training gear”- “can’t you give it a break” Wife shoots dirty look to me. On return same shuttle driver- he remembers the exchange.
In elevator from room to hotel gym- are those juggling clubs?
No questions from any other hotel gym people- gym was decent for a hotel- free weights were up to 50 lb. dumbbells (used those for some swings, SP, BP, TGU), lots of aerobic machines.
Worked out Sun and Monday AM, Tuesday and Wednesday PM- worked with CBs till grip felt weak, would then step or run for ~ 5 minutes, then back to CBs and sometimes some dumbbell work as well.
Bags searched by TSA both ways.
Could have worked with the CBs in the room instead of the gym if I had wanted to. Very happy that I have a good option when traveling.
