Hi all! I have been following the RR program now for a few weeks and I
have noticed some HUGE changes. I am less moody, more energetic, and
have lost my insomia! I believe in this program 100%. How would I blend
RR with some of the better overall cancer prevention programs? Also,
what about fasting?
thanks, Shane

Hi Shane. What great news on your progress!
What cancer prevention programs are you thinking of?
Dr. Kathleen has an article on cancer, FYI.

Fasting - first off, why do you ask? For medical reasons, religious, cleansing, or?
There are things you can do to mitigate the whacking-out that happens when sugar sensitive people get no fuel...

Thanks ConnieOR for your reply. My interest in fasting are for cleansing/
detoxing. How would one do this on RR? Thankyou for the article link on
cancer and fats.
Thanks Shane

Shane, cleansing-fasting is not in the RR program; it's designed for fueling the sugar sensitive body for optimum performance. If a sugar sensitive person, who is not in balance, wants to do a cleansing fast, it makes the out-of-balance biochemicals worse. (that would be, uneven blood sugar, lowered serotonin, and highly upregulated and low beta-endorphin.) If a sugar sensitive person who IS in balance needs to fast for medical reasons, there are things you can do to soften the blow.
So I can't help you with cleansing fast info as it is outside my interest and expertise. But I can tell you that as a sugar sensitive person who has been out of, and then in, balance, I would not want to risk it for anything. So if I were wanting to "clean things out" I would look for foods that could be done without hurting the biochemical systems of sugar sensitivity.
Jason, thanks for the link and I want to reiterate that fasting is really hard on sugar sensitive people especially if they are unbalanced.

Hey ConnieOR. That all makes very good sense. I am feeling so much
better since starting RR that I don't want to go backwards. I have
struggled with fasting before and thought that maybe it was temporary
side effects of the detox, now I know what was really my problem was.
Balanced Biochemistry through RR will be my focus from now on.Thanks
again for your help. Oh, and by the way I really do like your web-site.Keep
up the good work.
