I just got home from the Zeta IC training and wanted to share a few things about my experience.
Coach Sonnon was truly missed. We all gave a heartfelt speedy recovery. Coach Sonnon must be truly pleased on the exemplary job that the Head Coach's did.
I have several area's in my body that needed special attention. Learning nuances to drills was very benificial. For example, the breathing drills to perform an integrated rocket made a huge difference in all my clubbell swings. I practiced my hip snaps and was able to find my snatch. This movement eluded me and caused pain in my elbow and shoulder. With performance breathing and a proper hip snap, the movement was pain free. :D
Perhaps the most astonishing breakthough was during the assessment part of the course. I talked about a performance impediment in my mills. I linked it to a emotional issue based on my recent divorce. Four years ago I had an agument with my then wife. In my frustartion and anger I punched a cabinet door and broke the fifth metacarpal. After doing the arm screw drill and really focusing on the medial movement of the elbow, my mill greatly improved. After sitting down for a moment to absorb the kinestetic information, I noticed a grape sized bubble came up in my forearm. I let go of some stuck energy in the ulna fascia. Now I have the power back in the forth and fifth digets. :D
I'm sure that it may take awhile for me to integrate all I learned at the training. The depth of the material presented will be a fabulous adventure.
I highly recommend anyone wishing to deepen thier personal practice of CST to consider the IC training.
My heartest thanks to my fellow Cadre, the staff at RMAX, and the Coaches that make these trainings happen.
