I was fortunate enough to have received an advance copy of Doug's book and just finished reading it last night. I've met Doug in person and know that he's serious about his training. All I can say is that Doug is definitely on his way to becoming a true Master at this sport!

The book itself makes for a quick read but I know that I'll be spending countless training sessions with the book held open trying to integrate the techniques that Doug shows into my own style. The fact that he can expound so much information in such a concise and efficient manner reveals just how much time and effort he has invested in to finding out the nitty gritty details that will help the rest of us achieve greatness in this sport.

If you're planning on competing in Olympic Clubbell Sport competitions, I don't suggest this book...I'M ORDERING YOU TO GET IT! As a former Navy Diver there was always an underlying respect for the guys that had "Been there, done that" with regards to highly difficult diving operations (SEAL ops, salvage, etc). Coach Szolek has definitely shown that he's "Been there, done that, and still doing it" and if you want to find out just how far you can go with OCS he is the man to show you!

Thank you, Coach Szolek, for putting so much effort and knowledge into this training manual!

Train hard,

I would have to second Scrapper’s sentiments. Coach Szolek's manual is a must have for anyone considering OCS. The manual is well written and provides loads of information that is of benefit to anyone using Clubbells in their training. To be honest the manual is a steal for the information that you get. The section on grip protocol is worth the price of the manual. The OCS Manual is a must for any Clubbell trainee. So if you want to get full benefit out of your Clubbells or considering OCS you can’t go wrong with Coach Szolek’s Olympic Clubbell Training Manual. Keep up the good work Coach!
