need a tough double-density kb-cb workout.i've got35, 52,72, kbs,and 20 lbs cb . Also i have a question on sets and reps in a double-d program. Does 20 sets in 20 mins mean 20 rh/ 20 lh/ or does each hand count as a set? I coach highschool football. wrestling and voluntier my time to help the track coach. I would like to do the program with my 14 year old son. I,m 40, 6,1- 235,and very strong. thanks for the help. I love the site.

On the rep counts with 20 sets in 20 minutes. It depends on the exercise. If it's a pair of cbs like the Swipe, then a set of 20 is 20 swipes with both hands. If it's Mills, which are one-handed, then a set of 20 is 20 right plus 20 left.

I can't wait to see what you come up with. You're way stronger than I am and I will leave the exercise suggestions to the strongmen among us but to get you started....

Have you seen the article "Phase IV: The Path to Strength Endurance (http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/18/sonnon1.html)?" It has a monster schedule with all CBs that you could modify maybe to include both CB and KB.

And, what are your goals specifically, and the goals for your son?

Like, do you want to get even stronger  , or more endurance, or more skill with the implements, or?

Also, a monster double density has 3 parts: the actual workouts, plus time for active recovery, plus time for WW joint mobility. What time do you have for those parts, and do you have WW?

thanks for your help Connie! Great article. the kettle exercise of choice is the snatch. It's the greatest. lastnight did 224 reps, 112 each side . My goals , always set a good example for my players. Also I,m always looking for a new challeng! I get so bored with regular weight training.
