Coach Sonnon and forum members,

In reviewing Grappler's Tool Box, Coach Sonnon refers to holding handstand position with hands at a 45 degree angle either in or out. I realize he discusses screwing into the ground as a principle. However, having palms vertically facing the wall at a perpendicular angle, is it wrong per say or potentially harmful?

Thank you for you comments.

Will, I don't see anything harmful by it. It's parcel to the basic HSPU for S&C. However, that 'type' of strength wasn't the intention of the Screwing HSPU for SEE in grappling (and 'movement sophistication' in general.)
