Hi Folks,
I am planning a 4 week business trip to Bangalore, India in the next few months and I'd like to get some feedback from the forum. Specifically I have noticed that there seems to be a healthy respect for India's ability to produce wrestlers and strength athletes. I have not studied the history of wrestling and know very little of martial arts in India (save for gatka). Are there things that I should look out for, areas worth researching, artifacts worth collecting? Is there first hand information that I may be able to gather that would be helpful to the cadre? I always like to add a little bit of me time to business trips and see if I can learn a little bit about the local history and culture =)
Assuming my girl friend won't kill me, I will be adding 1-2 weeks vacation time to the end of my trip and I hope to go to Nepal and Tibet. I have always wanted to train with the monks and stand at the base of Mt. Everest =)
BTW, I will speak with a cook and get an authentic recipe for ghee
Thanks,
-Kyle
