If you're doing mobility drills and you find a problem area, what is the recommended procedure? My problem areas are a crunchy ankle when doing ankle circles and my hip when I do the laying knee circles as shown in zdrovye. I feel a sharp pain in my left hip when the foot goes to the outside. It's not a real intense pain, it feels almost like something wants to pop or crack but it never does. Should I back off until I can't feel it at all or should I still be able to feel it? How much should you work the problem areas? Is more better or is there a limit to what is useful?
Thanks.

Chris,
Go to the discomfort, not through the discomfort. Coming close and moving by, not through, will shave off the tension and discharge the density. Sometimes a joint wants to decompress which can feel like a pressure before a pop.
