Hi everone,

I am completley new to clubbell training and am in need of some advice.
Currently my training is like this, I do 2 - 3 cardio sessions per week for approx 1 hr at a time. I do 2 pilates sessions per week 1hr at a time . 1 session of combat ju-jitsu a week , on top of this I do three 1 Hour weight lifting sessions per week.
I would like to incorporate the clubbells into my training routine, I was thinking of dropping the weight lifting sessions for the clubbells , is this a good idea?

I am 30 yrs old 6ft tall and weigh 208lbs.

If anybody could give me advice on were to fit in clubbell training , how many times per week and for how long and the exercises etc.

I am looking to gain greater strength and flexibility , I would like to tone up and get mored defined.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Before a program suggestion, please read "Cycle, Circuit but don't Cocktail" and then when you've restated your goals here, I believe that an answer will be self-evident.

Click the 'Search' button on the forum and enter 'cycle AND circuit AND cocktail'. Only a handful of topics show up. I'm not sure if there is an article in CST Mag also, but these threads on this forum should explain things well enough.

The thread most worth reading about this is "Cleaning the Slate", which has also become a CST Magazine article:

To better understand where Clubbells should fit into your routine, please give us more information about what days/times you do your current workouts, what you do for rest/recovery, any injuries you have/had, and what you are trying to achieve. *Please be more specific in terms of what you are training for: an activity, a look, a feeling, or whatever.* This isn't entirely clear from your original post. :)

Once we know where you are at and where you are going, we will be happy to help you figure out how to get there! :D
