CST looks like the way to go for me. I'm over fifty, pretty much physically fit (except for the "trigger finger" tendonitis condition in my hands) and I want to improve my physical and mental prowess. Should I begin with the lightweight 5-pounders because of my hands? I'm small in stature as well...

Welcome to the Tribe. The 5lbers are cool. I have a pair of 5s and 10s. You can't go wrong with either but they will limit how much circular strength you'll develop to some degree. I don't know what limitations your condition places on your ability to crush grip. Have you tried WW to possibly alleviate that finger tendonitis? If you go with the 15s to start, be aware that you will have to crush grip them.

Welcome to the Tribe. Check out the Clubbell Buyer's Guide for guidance. If you're physically fit, then 15s are a good point of departure - trigger finger withstanding.
