I was posting my daily nutrition in my training log but since Coach Szolek opened up this topic area I decided to move it here =)
I don't really prescribe to any specific diet...in fact I don't even like the word in its modern context. People should eat a certain way as a way of life, not to loose their tummy.
Anyway, I focuss on two things. #1 - Eatinf the right ammoun and #2 - eating natural (ie. if I can kill it or pick I will eat it). This eliminates a lot of foods like chips, bread, salami, ranch dressing etc. Basically I try to avoid highly processed food. This may seem similar to a protein diet but it is primarily focused on eating the right ammount of the right foods.
To me the "right foods" are the ones that make me feel good. Those being fruits, veggies, nuts, berries, meat, beans (not cheeseburgers and milkshakes). The "right ammount" is also what makes me feel good and is directly proportionate to my daily physical and mental activity.
As you can see it is all about listening to my body, and doing what feels natural while ignoring the unnatural programming that society pumps into my head.
