I wanted to share briefly how I have used RMAX to remain sane and healthy during my stay in Iraq.

The nature of my work demands extended hours in conditions that are less than desirable, however, I am still required to maintain a high level of fitness and readiness.
Because of commercial flight weight restrictions, this time around I was only able to bring my 15lbs Clubbells (last time I had my 20#'s).

When I have a spare 10-20 mins during the day I pick them up and swing away. Somedays I use double CB's , somedays I use singles.

I also find time for at least one Warrior Wellness / Bodyflow session daily.
I have been fortunate enough to find a willing training partner with whom, a couple of times a week, I can do some Softwork.

My small personal discovery has been that as I have sophisticated my single and double CB combo routines, I have started adding Bodyflow movements to the same (Including my infamous and not really pantented "Swoosh" combo). These CB /BF routines serve to remind me that a club is a weapon :D
Just like "There is no spoon", there is no separation to me between CB's, Bodyflow, and Softwork.
The addition of the movements to the CB combos have brought a "warrior flavor" to my personal practice that, in combination with the Softwork, has not only kept my mind "on task"; but helped me remain fit and relaxed during times of extreme psycho-physiological intensity.

RMAX has helped me stay SAFE and SANE while playing in a very different sandbox!

Tony,

Awesome. If you find the time, I know that everyone would love to see your perhaps one day patented "swoosh" combo.

Thanks for staying safe and sane out there, brother. And thanks for leading the way in sharing how to keep priorities straight in the midst of pressure.

Thank you for being one of the men/women "on the ground ", actually "doing our bit".

Cheers
Randell. :D
