Bill,
---> As the Clubbell descends out of the Inward Pendulum phase, allow it to pass your centerline.
---> Regrab with your opposite hand as it passes centerline, holding temporarily with both hands.
---> Use both hands to slow, stop and change direction of the Clubbell as quickly but smoothly as possible.
---> As the Clubbell reaches centerline, release the hand which had completed the repetition so that only your 'new' hand remains.
---> Continue solo-handed in the upswing portion of the Mill headed directly towards Back Position in the Shield Cast phase of the exercise.
Is that description adequate?
   - Got it - I just did it sans CB in the office. Will try it later avec CB.

I hope it's OK to revive an older thread. I understand the hand-to-hand transfer, but I am wondering how you deal with the safety strap.
On Coach Sonnon's OCS Mill video, I can't see if he is using the strap, or if he is, how it transfers from one hand to the other.
Thanks,
Justin

Justin,
OCS is for experienced CST'ers only. If one needs a safety strap, one isn't ready for OCS competition.

OK, Coach. Don't worry; I'm not suggesting that I'm ready for OCS. I was just wondering about the hand transfer.
I like doing the OCS Mill since I play tennis and I'm starting to feel comfortable with the movement as it approximates the serve and overhead. I've been trying to develop my left-handed Mill and it feels good to alternate hands like you do on the OCS video.
But don't worry; I'm taking everything slow since I know I'm still a newbie.
Thanks,
Justin
