...sore, but not as to stop me from doing anything it just feels stiff
I have some stiffness issues w/ hands & wrists in general that I notice at night & in the morning, which may be a little more noticeable after a cb workout.
Sometimes, when joints stiffen up during inactivity but loosen up with movement can be an indicator of arthritis.
So does your thumb "loosen up" as the day goes on? Has it ever been injured, which would make it more susceptible to arthritis?
I ain't a doc, but have a sneaking suspicion my hands would be curling up into claws without the Warrior Wellness exercises for the digits & wrists

Just my 2 cents..
Be sure you're gripping the clubbells with your hand wrapped around the neck and not with the thumb down the neck - this was my tendancy at frst as it seemed a way of having more control...but, this can/will however lead to strained thumbs.
If you're not doing the warrior wellness program, consider doing it - as it will get all those joints (hands, fingers and otherwise) mobile.
cheers,
Cody

When I first started training with Clubbells my wrist and forearms were very sore. My advice would be to make sure in the beginning to get adequate rest(days in between) for awhile until the soreness is not an issue. :)
