I am contemplating going straight low carb (That is, to say, I have been doing Cyclic Ketogenic Diets such as Pasquale's Anabolic Diet and Faigin's NHE and all in all am getting tired of feeling like crap mentally and physically after carbing up - not to mention waking up bloated). I am looking for the best book in regard to Low Carb - for athletic performance as well as reaching a low bodyfat level. Have already read Atkins, Life Without Bread, among others. Just finished, The Fat of the Land - by; Vilhjalmur Stefansson - for a bit of Nutritional Anthropolgy (On a side note: After reading this book, one seriously begins to doubt the benefits of items such as fruits and vegetables). It seems, so far, Ellis is the guy most would reccomend for my goals. Just wondering if my presumption is correct?

Hemi,

Don't overthink it. Youv'e seen the results of Ellis. Buy it and do it - then you'll know. I would just buy the lite, unless you really want to immerse yourself in alot of stuff you don't need to know for it to work. There's a difference between being interested in diet and getting lean. You'll get alot of answers to this question. You decide.
