I just got my MRI Results back on a shoulder injury that happened to me from surfing. The results look like the injury is pretty mild, but I still lack a little coordination with my warrior wellness and I want make sure that am strengthening it and not making it worse. Here is the diagnosis as listed:
1) Mild Bursal surface fraying of the supraspinatus tendon. This involves less than 20% of the thickness of the tendon.
2) Thickening of the subacromial/subeitiod bursa.
3) Type II acromion is risk factor for biomechanical impingement.
Any advice would be appreciated. So far I have gotten some exercises from my chiro and needless to say I was a little dissapointed with some of the exercises working only partial ROM and consisting of things such as lateral raises.
Thank you in advance
