1. When running and someone gets a pain in their side.what is this caused from?

2. Do you know how much protein the body can deal with at one meal, in a day?

Thanks

People disagree, but typically I have found it's a lack of sufficient digestion; too close to just having eaten.

Shoot for 1/3 your BW in grams of protein.

Jason, I agree with Coach that eating too close to a run can create problems. Indeed, some who are prone to suffering will also need to limit their fluid intake immediately before (and occasionally even during!) running.

Another thing I have abserved is that the tendency to suffer reduces as the runner gets fitter. Especially if they work on consciously controlling their breathing.

Just my 0.02c

jason alot of the time the pain near the liver is caused by the liver and muscles around it being stretched when running. usually bending over with ur arms in front of you will correct this problem. later.
