i tried searching for this question but got like 630 results and since i didnt want to go thru all of them i was hoping someone would be nice enough to give me an answer or point me in the right direction. so, i was wondering what the general consensis was on what the proper way to breath is when working out. i mean is it the standard in thru the nose out thru the mouth, are you supposed to breath thru the parts of your body that are working out, or what. also if it not too much to ask i would also like to know why one way of breathing is so effective--mainly i would like to know why so many people tell you that you have to breath in thru your nose and out thru your mouth. thanks.

Joel,
As is said on the top of the forum, and by the PM you were sent, begin by following forum courtesy policy of signing in at the Welcome Mat with a background on yourself and your interests here at RMAX, using your full real name in your signature.
Also, reading the breathing articles published at CST Magazine would be a helpful primer. Begin with Breath Scales Mastery (http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/27/sonnon4.html).
