I love that show!

The sad thing is that I've met people like that.  :!:

They made a neat little card game called Magic: The Gathering into a multibillion-dollar industry and inspired thousands of imitators and spinoffs. At least they're generally good for the economy.

What I want to know is, what sort of magic - device or incantation - did that blue robed warrior employ that was so easily able to defeat Boots of Escape??? More importantly, can we counter it???

It was a Thunder Wand of Ballistics.

...Ahhh yes, I see.... thus transmorgifying the original spell and transforming the Boots of Escape into Boots of Self-Delusion!

Crafty, crafty indeed... I suppose the only help would be a Mantle of Kevlar.

Thank you Jason. You're one step ahead of me. Question: are we gonna learn about this stuff at CST??

Thank you Connie. I suspect that I may be the victim of a heinous spell....

Then again, to apply Occam's Razor, its probably just that my eyes have gone numb from staring at this screen too long http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smilies/expressive/tired.gif And that has nothing to do with the volume of articles that Coach Sonnon writes, nothing at all http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smilies/famous/pinocchio.gif

Do American police really shoot you just for running away???

Where's the self defense in that!

It was funny until he got shot though.... :)

Actually, I think you got the magic item he used against the boots of escaping wrong. It was his BOOM STICK.

(Any "Army of Darkness" fans lurking out there?)

Yours,
Glenn
