Okay, tomorrow I will be ordering a pair of clubbells and the video/book. Do I go with 10 or 15lbs?
Information about me
30 years old
6'
185 lbs
decent physical shape (240 on last APFT) (PU/SU/2 mile run)
active duty army so I have time every day to do the work
crappy diet at work with attempts at healthier diet at home (soda, starch, fast food and deli food at work but at home lean red meat, chicken, greens, etc)
Goals
Max APFT with a score of 300 within 6 months
Add functional muscle
improve endurance
take over the world!!! (or at least lower the property taxes in NJ)
I'm listening....

Hi ABN
I would recommend the 15lb CBs to help acheive increased endurance and building functional muscle. These are both natural occurences with a Circular Strength Training program and a heavier clubbell would fit the bill nicely.
I will give this some thought and I'll post a program that I would use to acheive those goals.

I'll second Chris' thoughts on Clubbell choice. The Welter Class Clubbells (15lbs.) will offer a heavy challenge with a plenty of room to grow into them.
Looking forward to hearing how they work for you!

Andy with your Systema background you'll be able to start with the Cruiser (15lbs.) Clubbells. Chris Rubio designs combat specific strength and conditioning programs professionally. His offer for free program design will take you to your goals and beyond! Just remember to tell him the specific goals you wish to achieve in what specific time period. The more specific you are - the faster and more accurate you will achieve those goals. The only unreasonable goal is the one you don't pursue tenaciously. I look forward to reading your progress through Chris' program! When he finishes your design, remember to repost it to the Personal Training Logs and enter a daily AAR.

Thank you all for the input! Chris, If you want, I'll PM you or email you with a more specific goal oriented plan later on this evening.
Thanks,
