Anyone follow an all meat diet? thinking about trying it. Any advice. I don't need to loose weight. I just want to more healtheir. Ellis reading have got my attention.

Never tried. Although i have some days that are close. Certainly not requiered to be "Ellis" or low-carb. Obviously creates even more problems re: possible need for supplementation due to lack of variety.
I think this is where my little conservative streak kicks in. Never tried steroids, never did any hard or even medium drugs. Argued against the extreme backbend used in KB jerk competition.....
I will try a lot of cutting edge stuff, but when the "I don't think so" alarm goes off, I listen.

I've tried it. It's very, very odd eating meat for breakfast. Makes you realise just how much breakfast is centred (mentally) around cerals, milk, OJ etc.
I started craving carbs abt 3 or 4 days in...bread, bread, must eat BREAD!!!!
Snacks are another oddity. With diary and carbs out, you're left to snack on....? Exactly ;-)
(BTW, the answer is fruit & veg. Call me slow)
More than anything, its a mental adjustment. Doesn't feel right not having porridge in the morning.
Still not sure of the healtful effects of an *all* meat diet, but I can at least say "been there, done that" ;-)
BTW: Paleo is a little more forgiving than the all meat / all raw diet. Keep that in mind when you're ready to pull all your hair out ;-)

Jay, I agree with Bob, Paleo is more forgiving then going all meat. I have known many people with various allergies who have embraked upon a Paleo style of eating and all of their allergies subsequently went away. I would check out Neanderthin by Ray Audette. It's fairly short and to the point. Also: www.paleodiet.com is a fabulous resource. Best of luck to you!

Would all-meat include eggs?

My answer would be yes. Depends on who you talk to. If I want to get lean, quick, I go all meat/eggs.
Vilhjalmur stefansson and a friend of his went on an all meat regimen for a year, under strict medical supervision. This was strictly meat, no eggs. Turns out, they may not have been healthier at the end of the year, however, they sure as hell were not any less healthy. They both had more energy, had lost weight, and felt better overall. It is very possible to subsist for an entire lifetime on nothing but meat - look at the Eskimo/Inuit. Furthermore, many Hunter-Gatherer tribes still subsist on nearly nothing but animal products. To read about the aforementioned year long meat escapade:

Extremely interesting material. For those of you who read this article and or have interest in this type of thing; check out Sefansson's "Fat of The Land." It is out of print so check your library. Another great read on the subject is Marvin Harris's "Cannibals and Kings."(I do not know what is more valuable. The book itself, or the look you get from people when either they see you reading it or you tell them the title of the book you are currently engrossed in  ) Both of the books are excellent reads on Nutritional Anthropology. Have fun kiddies!
