The other day my wife came home from collage and like very other day we talk about her classes.
In one of her classes (I think world religon) The subject of jediism came up. that in UK there was a cenuss of religon, and that about 70,000 people wrote in 'jedi knight' in a movement to get jediism to be an offical religon. I personaly think is cool and at the same time nuts.
I think it's cool that the truths rang true for so many people. But that it's nuts that instead of find there own path with the religons of the world that they make one based from a moive. I my-self like the movies and took to heart the truth of the jedi, but I have felt no need to make a religon based on such. My belief system is like no others it's a blend of a few differant world faiths, so I can give compation to this and understand there need.
I post this to discuss this topic with everyone in the tribe. And maybe bring better understanding of the tribe and world at large.
so please lets hear everyone thoughts.
Thanks

I have a friend who says that spirituality is hard-wired into us, and it's just a matter of finding that which resonates with you.
This goes along with the RMAX idea of removing impediments. When we are no longer bound, our beings can hum along with the divine.
Haha, I remember reading about that in the paper at the time.
They were actually joking, but I think it was their way of expressing the uncertainty that prevails in this day and age.
We have the ever expanding religion of science which you see all around you. You might ask where is religion, I can't see it?......it's inside and that is where cst comes in, it lets it out into everything all around you. You and all else are it and once realised and clearly seen you will not go back. Sure you will have bad days but they will be much more easily tolerated and once the bad state of mind memorys disapear and are replaced by the good state of mind memorys, well, then you reach enlightenment.
Like Connie said, it's hardwired in the brain in a fashion that some would say is evolutionary. Does this mean it's not real? Well it deffinitely feels real and I don't see how something like that can develop from an uintellegent vacuum, but haha, the aether is back. Todays new scientist has a big aerticle on it and this in my opinion very much points towards the unity of all beings......we are the same stuff and (this bit is a bit out there) maybe all atoms are alive, conscious in some way and that feeling you get when you have done ww for an hour and you sit in meditation for another hour and you suddenly feel like you are in silent telepathic communication with totality, the tao!
I think all religions have something to offer and I know members of allmost every religion in existence and they are all good people who wanna get along with everyone.
The point is life......we are here to love each other and spread it around.... IMO of course.
I think I went a bit off topic there
Feel free to edit my post if anyone finds it offensive.
Cheers.
